On average I think if I could I would say spend the whole day on my phone. Then again it depends if I am talking to someone or not for me to be on my phone constantly. But if you think about it that is how today world is is. Personally I try not to get on my phone when others are around just because I was thought that was rude. Not only is it rude but it can become uncomfortable for the other person because say if I start to laugh but the joke is not  appropriate  and that person wants to laugh but I can’t tell them because it might be offensive. I believe my whole family is distracted by their phones expect for my grandma and that’s only because she does not know how to work hers. Whenever we are at dinner my mom try’s to stress that we shouldn’t be on our phones during dinner. In her words “its family time”. For the most part it seemed like it was working but once my dad’s job calls him that’s it everyone’s phone is out and in full use. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen my teachers use their phones. I mean they are “on the clock” per say so I don’t they are going to get fired over a text message.

INTERNET PRIVACY

INTERNET PRIVACY ??!

After reading the article on internet privacy I believe no matter how much information that you download on the internet or the amount of information that you try to destroy; it will always be there. I find it pointless to have privacy settings on the social site that we use today because any brainy act with a high IQ will be able to find any and everything they need. I wish that some sites would not permit certain information on the social site. For instance I wish Facebook would not all us to have explicated pictures or videos of us in our younger and much immature years. Those acts later on affect us when we go for job. Or applying for an internship. Would it be asking too much just for a warning before we post our stupidity?  Or before we made an account on that social site that we could get a pop-up giving us a warning. I don't know I hope something gives with this technology these days.

One computer program that I found to be useful would be Facebook. My reasoning is because not only is there an app for it but it’s a site.  I can not only use it for entertainment but also for networking and meeting new people. I find that Facebook helps me to keep in contact with family that I don’t see too often. Being that Facebook can be accessed on a computer and on my phone. I love the fact that it is mobile makes more easily to see what updates are on celebrities and different this that is going in the world today. I don’t really need Instagram or other sites like twitter because Facebook gives you just about everything you need. By using the messenger on Facebook benefits not only me but a lot of students because you can accesses your teacher through Facebook faster than having to email and waiting days for them to get back to you. Overall Facebook is very beneficial site that always being used for personal or networking.

Hacking victims deserves Empathy, Not Ridicule

This article is about a website by Ashley Madison created to help married couples cheat on their spouse. Recently there were hackers that hacked into the account users threating to give up names if they did not give up a substantial amount of money. Due to the fact that the hackers were not given anything they began giving up names. Many of the users of the user of Ashley Madison began to contemplating suicide because they were afraid of losing their jobs, families and friends due to their actions that they committed. And to me that is so selfish, wanting to kill yourself because of a dumb action made by you. Personally, I believe sanctification of a marriage and the fact that these MARRIED people are seeking satisfaction from outside of their marriage then why get married in the first place? I believe that it is very selfish especially when there are kids involved and if the person committing the adultery is the bread winner.  I don’t think it’s far to a child having to hear about their mom and or dad having extramarital affairs. Also, I think that it was a dumb idea to even participate in the website knowing the consequences that might come out in it. Knowing that you are in jeopardy of losing you wife or husband or losing your job all because of two through ten minutes is outrageous to me.  Those who have taken a part in those affairs , I don’t feel bad for you.
